Their fuzzy little bodies, legs covered in pollen...a wiggle dance here and there... always working and taking care of each other. Our girls...we're proud of them. And the boys? They don't really work at all, but we do love them too. We've learned so much about and from them since we started our adventure into beekeeping. And not only about the honeybees: also about local trees, shrubs, flowers and last, but definitely not least: the native bees....and then there is us: Arjen, Karin and our apiary dog Chica.

Our life with honeybees started in the winter of 2017 when a dear relative suggested that it might be an interesting adventure for us. She was so right! Now, a couple of years down the road and having expanded from 4 to 9 hives, we couldn't bee happier we followed up on her suggestion!. Our beeswax candles are handmade with lots of love and care. They consist of 2 ingredients only: natural, local beeswax and a cotton wick. No other additives are needed to fill your home with a golden glow and a lovely, gentle honey aroma
